TRIP 90 Day Taste Guarantee
Terms and Conditions
Promoter / Guarantor: TRIP Drink Ltd, registered in England & Wales with company number 11834475, registered office: 13 Hillgate Street, London, England, W8 7SP.
These terms apply to the TRIP 90-Day Taste Guarantee shown for the eligible 72-can Calming Variety Pack - 90 Day Supply at drink-trip.com.
Key limits: Taste claims only, subject to the trial allowance in section 4. Notify TRIP within 90 days after delivery. Refunds cover one eligible product unit and are capped at £50. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
1 Scope of the Guarantee
1.1. The “90-Day Taste Guarantee” is a voluntary promotional money-back guarantee offered by TRIP on the eligible Calming Variety Pack - 90 Day Supply purchased directly from drink-trip.com.
1.2. The Guarantee only applies where the 90-day taste guarantee was clearly displayed for the relevant product and purchase option at the time the customer placed their order.
1.3. The Guarantee allows an eligible customer who is dissatisfied with the taste of an eligible product to claim a refund for one eligible product unit only, subject to these terms.
1.4. This Guarantee is separate from, and does not affect, your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to faulty, misdescribed or unsatisfactory goods.
1.5. These terms apply to eligible purchases expressly offered with the 90-Day Taste Guarantee in place of TRIP’s standard 30-day guarantee terms. The offer and terms applicable when the order was placed determine the cover.
2 Eligibility
2.1. The Guarantee applies only to purchases made directly from drink-trip.com.
2.2. Purchases from third-party retailers or marketplaces, including Amazon, Sainsbury’s, Holland & Barrett, TikTok Shop or any other retail partner, are excluded.
2.3. The Guarantee applies only to the 72-can option of the Calming Variety Pack - 90 Day Supply where the 90-day offer was displayed at the time of purchase. The 30 Day Supply option and all other pack sizes are excluded from this 90-day Guarantee.
2.4. The Guarantee does not apply to products where the Guarantee was not displayed, single cans, merchandise, gift cards, free gifts, samples, or products purchased for resale.
2.5. The eligible 72-can Calming Variety Pack - 90 Day Supply is expressly included in this Guarantee, despite being a variety pack or being supplied in more than one carton. Other bundles, build-a-box products and mixed promotional offers are excluded.
2.6. The Guarantee is limited to one successful claim per customer and one successful claim per household across TRIP’s voluntary 30-day and 90-day taste guarantees combined. A successful claim under either counts towards this limit. Claims under statutory rights do not count towards it, and the same purchase cannot receive a duplicate refund. For these purposes, TRIP may consider delivery address, email address, customer account, payment method and other reasonable fraud-prevention information. A shared delivery address alone will not be treated as conclusive evidence of a shared household.
2.7. The Guarantee covers the customer’s first eligible order under this offer, whether an eligible one-time purchase or the initial shipment of an eligible subscription. Repeat orders and automatic subscription renewals are not covered unless a guarantee is separately and expressly offered for them.
2.8. Cancelling or pausing a subscription does not remove cover for an eligible purchase already made. Making a claim does not, by itself, cancel or pause the subscription. Customers can manage their subscription through their account or ask hello@drink-trip.com for help, including in the same email as their claim. TRIP will process any cancellation or pause request under the applicable subscription terms.
3 Eligible Product Unit
3.1. A refund may only be claimed against one eligible product unit.
3.2. An “eligible product unit” means one complete 72-can Calming Variety Pack - 90 Day Supply purchased as one retail product, even if delivered in several cartons. Free gifts, samples and promotional memberships supplied with it are not part of the refundable product unit.
3.3. If a customer purchases more than one unit of the same eligible product, the Guarantee applies to one unit only.
3.4. If a customer purchases multiple eligible products in the same order, the Guarantee applies to one eligible product unit of the customer’s choice in that order.
4 Trial Allowance and Fair Use
4.1. The Guarantee is intended to allow customers to try the taste of the eligible product. It is not an “all-you-can-consume” offer. The 90 days is the period for submitting a claim, subject to the trial allowance below.
4.2. To be eligible, the customer must have consumed no more than a reasonable trial amount of the eligible product.
4.3. The reasonable trial amount is up to two cans in total from the eligible 72-can supply. This is two cans across the whole supply, not two cans per flavour or per carton.
4.4. TRIP may reject a claim where reasonable evidence shows that the customer has consumed more than the trial allowance or has not met the stated eligibility conditions. Fraud or misuse will be assessed under section 7.
4.5. Customers must retain the remaining unused product until the claim has been resolved, as TRIP may request evidence or return of the remaining product. Customers should retain the original packaging where practicable. Missing outer packaging will not, by itself, invalidate an otherwise eligible claim where the purchase and trial allowance can reasonably be verified.
5 Refund Amount and Maximum Claim Value
5.1. The maximum refund available under the Guarantee is the amount actually paid by the customer for one eligible product unit, after any discounts, vouchers, subscription savings, bundle savings, loyalty rewards or other promotional reductions have been applied.
5.2. The total refund available under the Guarantee is capped at £50 per customer and per household.
5.3. The refund will therefore be the lower of:
the amount actually paid for one eligible product unit; and
£50.
5.4. Where the eligible product unit formed part of a discounted order, promotion or offer, the refund will be calculated using the effective discounted price paid for that product unit. Any order-wide discount will be allocated proportionately to the products to which it applies.
5.5. This voluntary Guarantee does not cover:
original delivery charges;
express delivery upgrades;
shipping protection or insurance;
gift wrapping;
free gifts;
samples;
other products in the order.
5.6. Valid claims will be refunded promptly to the original payment method where possible. If this is not possible, TRIP will agree a suitable alternative with the customer. These refund limits and exclusions do not affect the separate statutory rights described in section 9.
6 How to Claim
6.1. To make a claim, the customer must email hello@drink-trip.com within 90 calendar days after delivery of the eligible product unit. If that unit is delivered in parts, the period starts after the final part is delivered. Tracked delivery records will normally be used, but TRIP will consider other reasonable evidence if the delivery date is disputed.
6.2. The claim should include:
order number, or other reasonable evidence of purchase;
customer name and delivery postcode;
the eligible product being claimed against;
a short explanation that the customer was dissatisfied with the taste;
photographic evidence of the remaining product and packaging, where reasonably available; and
where available, batch code or best-before information.
6.3. TRIP may request additional reasonable evidence to validate the claim, including photographs of the remaining product, packaging, batch codes or order details. TRIP will also use its own order and offer records; customers do not need to retain the landing-page URL or a screenshot.
6.4. TRIP may require the customer to return the remaining unused product before issuing a refund. If TRIP requires a return, TRIP will provide a prepaid returns label, reasonable instructions and a reasonable time to return the product.
6.5. If the returned product or other reasonable evidence shows that more than the permitted trial allowance has been consumed, TRIP may reject the claim under this voluntary Guarantee.
6.6. A claim is submitted on time when TRIP receives the initial claim email within the 90-day period. Any supporting information or requested return may follow afterwards within a reasonable time. Customers do not need to wait until the end of the 90 days to claim.
7 Fraud and Abuse Prevention
7.1. TRIP may reject a claim where it reasonably believes, based on evidence, that there has been fraud, abuse or misuse of the Guarantee.
7.2. This includes:
repeat successful claims by the same customer or household contrary to clause 2.6;
claims made using different identities to avoid the one-claim limit;
claims relating to products purchased for resale;
deliberately falsifying product, packaging, batch or order information; or
claims where the customer cannot provide, and TRIP’s records do not establish, reasonable evidence of purchase.
7.3. TRIP will assess claims reasonably. If a claim is refused, TRIP will explain the reason and consider relevant further information or a request to review the decision. A claim will not be rejected solely because a customer has exercised a statutory right.
7.4. Nothing in this section affects a customer’s statutory rights.
8 Availability Changes and Withdrawal
8.1. The Guarantee is available for eligible purchases made while it is displayed on the relevant product page at drink-trip.com. Valid claims may still be made within the applicable claim period after the offer has ended.
8.2. TRIP may amend, pause or withdraw the Guarantee for future purchases. This will not reduce the cover applying to eligible purchases already made. Those purchases remain governed by the offer and terms applicable when the order was placed, including any broader guarantee previously promised.
8.3. The Guarantee applies to UK orders only.
8.4. These updated terms apply only to purchases for which they were made available before the order was placed. Earlier purchases retain their applicable terms. Customers may request a copy of the terms applying to their order by emailing hello@drink-trip.com.
9 Statutory Rights
9.1. This Guarantee is offered in addition to, and does not replace or limit, your statutory rights.
9.2. In particular, if a product is faulty, misdescribed, unsafe or otherwise does not meet your statutory rights, you may have separate rights to a refund, repair or replacement. Any statutory cancellation rights that apply are also unaffected.
9.3. For more information about your statutory rights, you may contact Citizens Advice or your local Trading Standards office.
9.4. The claim deadline, trial allowance, £50 cap, customer and household limits, evidence and packaging requirements, and delivery-charge exclusions in this voluntary Guarantee do not limit those separate statutory rights.
10 Governing Law
10.1. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection available where you live in the UK.
10.2. Customers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
